Where did everything come from? Was it a big bang?
There’s no mention in the Bible about a big bang that created everything, only God was in the beginning.
Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” and as you continue reading in Genesis 1, you’ll see that He spoke all things into existence. The Earth, space, time, light, land, plants, suns, moons, stars, animals, and humans were all created in six days by God, not billions of years by a cosmic explosion.
So, trust God’s word over man’s ideas and remember that the only big bang at the beginning was the booming voice of God as He spoke everything into existence.
