How would you segue from talking about being stuck in traffic to a Gospel conversation?
You know something that really stinks? Sitting in traffic. But you know what else really stinks? Brimstone! And the bible says that, “All liars will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone.” It’s not somewhere you want to go. It’s not a nice place.
But there is Good News, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth, born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, never lied, like you have, and I have. But He died on the cross to pay for our sin and rose three days later so that we could have eternal life IF we turn from our sinful nature and trust in Jesus Christ alone.
Do that today and you’ll never have to smell that stinky brimstone!
